Art for everyone. I hate doing artist statements and bios but here goes anyway. I am a disabled firefighter. During a rescue attempt I was hit by a 13,200 volt power line. That hurt and the Near Death Experience was life changing. Over the years my health was effected and I turned to art as a therapy. It turns out I had a talent I wasn’t aware of. My neurologist said it wasn’t unusual that neurological changes bring things out in people that they never knew they had. I learned through viewing many hours of videos and countless publications. I am always pushing myself with new techniques and subjects trying to perfect a craft that I know can never be perfected. After 10+ years every day is still a new day of wonder, awe and learning. Painting is my magnificent obsession and my passion. It does my soul good to see people smile when they get my work.
